Drift approached Cloudbreak Swim, a local, woman-owned swimwear brand, to propose creating content for their upcoming swim collection launch. We love working with brands that share our values and community roots, so we wanted to design a concept that felt worth their time while fully reflecting their brand spirit.
Why We Reached Out
Cloudbreak’s swimwear embodies effortless summer confidence, and we saw an opportunity to translate that into a story-driven shoot. Our idea was to craft an experience that felt less like a staged production and more like a day in the life of their ideal customer—sun-drenched and effortlessly stylish.
The Ask
Our team delivered a curated image gallery alongside multiple video edits optimized for social media and launch promotion. The content not only showcased the new collection but also conveyed the sensory experience and personality of the brand.
Deliverables
We pitched a “boat day” concept for the launch and coordinated with friends to secure a yacht for a full-day shoot. From there, we carefully built out the scenes with props, wardrobe choices, and small details that would bring the vibe to life. The goal was to make viewers feel like they were right there—laughing with friends, soaking up the sun, and feeling the freedom of peak summer.
